Accounts Executive

Our client is a highly specialised organisation, focused on the research and development of scientific products for distribution globally. They are seeking a driven, career focused Accounts Assistant, with previous Accounts Payable experience to join their Finance Team based in Clonskeagh. This business is growing at a rapid rate and due to this, there are significant career prospects for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and joining a team of 4, this role would suit a highly motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge and the ability to work on your own initiative in a highly organised and efficient manner.

The responsibilities of your role as Accounts Executive are as follows:

  • Approval and processing creditors invoices & Credit Notes
  • Month end creditor reconciliation
  • Monthly payment runs
  • Administration of foreign currency contracts and payments to suppliers
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Processing of general ledger transactions
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Preparation of VAT and other statistical returns
  • Assistance in account reconciliations and analysis for management & statutory reporting
  • Month End Process and preparation of Monthly & Quarterly Management Reports
  • Recording and reconciling all Petty cash transactions
  • Visa files and staff expenses
  • Private Healthcare administration
  • Assisting with Pension Scheme administrator
  • General office administration/telephone answering, as required

The Person

To be considered for this Accounts Executive opportunity you will:

  • Hold an accounting technicians qualification (minimum)
  • Possess 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant role
  • Be highly motivated to learn and get involved in all areas of accounting to increase your knowledge
  • Have strong attention to detail, and an ability to work with substantial amounts of data accurately and efficiently
  • Be capable of meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Be seeking an opportunity in an organisation where you can drive your career forward

Salary: Up to €42,000 + 10% bonus + Vhi + Pension
