Head of Marketing

This globally recognised FMCG company, has experienced significant growth over the last number of years and have a large portfolio of brands that the new head of Marketing will be responsible for managing across a range of regions.

The Role

The successful Head of Marketing will develop and drive a highly capable and commercially astute brand marketing function. As part of your remit, you will be responsible for all in-market campaign translations and media spend and have full commercial accountability including Brand P&L ownership. You will be a consumer champion within the business and have responsibility for:

  • The definition and development of Brand Vision, Consumer Goals, Strategic Big Bets, communication platform planning and phasing
  • Effective brief writing and supervision to internal stakeholders and external support agencies
  • Displaying commercial acumen and active Pricing/Revenue management for all brands within your remit
  • Communications planning, development, appraisal and review
  • Facilitation of integrated marketing approach in the form of TTL activity

The Person
The ideal Head of Marketing will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in building brand growth in a strategic marketing role with strong influencing and communication skills. You will be a self-starter, highly motivated and ambitious with high energy and creativity levels, demonstrating a leadership style that motivates and demands excellence.

A combination of prior FMCG and start-up experience is highly valued as is experience in standard setting, change management programmes and influencing cross functionally. In addition, customer facing experience in marketing programmes and commercial ROI’s, as well as KPI setting and measurement will assist you in this role.
