HR Operations Generalist

A global technology focused organisation with over 39 years of experience in delivering and supporting software solutions. With multiple locations in Ireland and across EMEA, with this particular HR Generalist opportunity you will get to truly work within a very fast paced and agile technology HR team during a period of time whereby they are about to embark a large scale change and transformation program during which the organisation will diversify and scale significantly.

The Role

  • The HR Operations Generalist opportunity is critical to ensuring consistent application of HR policy and process in a dynamic fast paced commercial environment. Mainly this role will be supporting Italy , Spain and Portugal with constant engagement and collaboration with other HR colleagues working on other EMEA wide markets
  • As part of a diverse and multi skilled HR team, the role will provide operational HR Support to employees and Managers in a changing environment
  • As a HR Specialist my client is looking for someone both talented and high-calibre who can form a core part of the delivery of excellent HR services and processes. Someone who is a “doer” but can also coach managers (and employees) on processes, policies & change management whilst ensuring the job ‘gets done’
  • The ideal candidate will have strong generalist HR experience within a commercial, multi-site environment, extensive Employee Relations exposure. Ideally you will have proven and prior HR expertise supporting employees within Italy, Spain and Portugal
  • The role will work closely with the HR Shared Services team in ensuring provision of efficient and effective HR operational service to the business in the interest of achieving key HR strategic deliverables in a changing environment

Person Specification

  • To be considered for this superb HR opportunity you must be able to clearly demonstrate a strong working HR knowledge of Spanish/ Italian / Portuguese employment law – coupled with proven experience of working in a HR operations and advisory role supporting Spanish or Italian or Portuguese Commercial & multinational environments
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and forward planning skills – Self Starter
