International HRD

International medical group with prestigious operations in Ireland, operate within over 40 countries across the globe. The brand has enjoyed significant success organically alongside some lucrative strategic acquisitions over the last number of years. They are currently looking to hire an experienced and strategic HRD to join their business during a period of rapid growth, change and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing innovative and strategic HR while taking the lead and collaborating on key HR initiative’s and projects across multiple global markets.

The Role

The International HRD will be strategically positioned to support a particularly key and flag ship business unit within the organisation that is geographically located across Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. Dublin and particularly this global business unit are continuously viewed as a superb talent hub globally. It is absolutely key that the HRD hired into this role is confident and can clearly demonstrate commercial credibility. The role will form an active part of the management team leading Regional/Global businesses from Dublin paying particular focus on the following key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Leaders to develop and execute their business and people strategy
  • Build Leadership and Management capability to drive business results
  • Ensure their HR approach fuels the winning culture needed to sustain continued success
  • Develop Learning & Development, Talent management , Change & Transformation , Culture & Capability, Performance Management initiatives to enhance a high-performance culture

This HRD opportunity holds superb visibility with senior stakeholders both in Ireland and across the globe. This business unit has a strong global foot print and frequently has international visitors and stakeholders on site. It is absolutely paramount that the person going into the role has the gravitas and strategic confidence to deal with such levels of internal and external stakeholders.

There is a strong mobility and global talent programme in this organisation and it is key that this HRD continues to build strong and engaged relationships with their peers and colleagues and business units across the globe.

The Person

To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to clearly demonstrate at least 10-15 years’ HR experience with significant exposure to international regions: EMEA, US and Asia Pacific

You will be able to clearly demonstrate a passion for HR as a driver of business results and the following attributes:

  • Strong business acumen and strategic leadership mindset
  • Diverse experience of partnering with Senior Business Leaders
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
