IT Helpdesk & Systems Admin

Globally, this organisation has a headcount of 10,000 employees with in the region of 200 staff based in Dublin, at their European Headquarters. Due to continued expansion, a new position has been created for an IT Helpdesk and Systems Administrator.

The Position:

As the new IT Helpdesk & Systems Admin, you will be the primary point of contact to the IT Department within the business, providing support for applications (Trackwise and SharePoint). You will take ownership for the development and maintenance of the Help Desk Application, managing and logging all tickets and escalating to other team members where required.

The Person:

The ideal IT Helpdesk & Systems Admin will have a relevant diploma / degree in computer science, engineering, business (or a related field), along with previous experience in a helpdesk environment (desirable). In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working with Windows Server 2003,2008,2012, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Relevant experience working in Windows 7 Pro
  • Knowledge of ITIL (an advantage)
