They are now seeking a Lab Technician (Lead QC Analyst) to join their team in Connacht.
Reporting into the Laboratory Manager in a fast paced QC Laboratory you will lead a team of four and be responsible for ensuring appropriate quality characteristics are met. As part of your role as Lead QC Analyst, you will also be responsible for material release through scheduling and analytical expertise: including HPLC, GC and wet chemistry techniques.
QC approval or rejection of raw materials in accordance with test specifications and assisting in the release of intermediates through peer review and LIMS disposition as well as QC data review and analysis performed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail and in compliance with all EHS policies will be key elements of your new role.
You will also have responsibility for the execution of Trackwise workflows for change control, unplanned event and OOS records, completing thorough root cause investigations and determining appropriate corrective and preventative actions
Assisting in the leading, mentoring and training of Lab Technologists in QC practices and procedures and the review of training materials will be another strong element of your position.
The ideal Lead QC Analyst will have a degree in Science or Life Science with 3-5 years’ experience in a cGMP QC Laboratory and experience in Method Development and Validation. You will have great statistical analysis skills as well as ensuring quality by design.
