Oracle ADF Developer

Our client is a leading provider of Oracle application software and has been in operation for over 30 years. They are now seeking senior Oracle ADF candidates to join their team on site in Cork.

The Position:

The successful Oracle ADF Developer will be responsible for the Oracle ADF Development on site and with clients (ADF, ADF Faces, ADF Task Flows and Business Components), working on WebCenter Spaces with Oracle SOA Suite, WebCenter Security, WebCenter application’s metadata management, and WebCenter Spaces Client Interactions.

You will provide guidance on technical customisations and extensions, developing web applications, enterprise applications and web services by using enterprise technologies, such as Java, J2EE, spring, JSF, Oracle ADF, Hibernate, EJB, JMS, JSP, Struts, Servlets, Beans, JMS, RMI, HTML, JDBC, XML (XSL, XSLT, XPath), Web Service, SOA and AXIS.

Your role will involve working with BA’s to understand requirements and provide optimal technical solutions to fulfil requirements whilst having responsibility for the development of technical designs, code artefacts, and unit testing for reports, interfaces, customisations, and extensions.

You will use a range of technologies such as: WebCenter Content(ECM 10g/11g), Oracle Workflows, Oracle BPEL Workflows, SOA Suite, Oracle Portal, APEX, Oracle DB 12c, J2EE frameworks like – OAF/ADF/Top Link/Struts), Portlets – JPDK/JSR168, Java.

The Person:

The ideal Oracle ADF Developer will have at least 4 years’ enterprise level application development experience with additional experience in the Oracle WebCenter 11g/UCM. You will have knowledge of Oracle ADF and Service Oriented Architectures and have experience with implementing authorisation and authentication integration.

Strong design and coding skills in defining workflow and metadata models are required for this role.

A Degree in Information Systems Management, a comparable area of study or comparable work experience is required along with experience in all phases of SDLC & Agile Methodology.
