Our client is a market-leading multinational organisation based in the South East. Due to continued growth they are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful appointee will report to the Director of Supply Chain and lead a team of highly skilled Production Planners. The Role

The Planning Manager will serve as a key member of the Supply Chain function in this fast-paced environment. As the Planning Manager you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all production targets are met and in line with site operational goals
• Monitoring all DC SKU inventory levels against their target and providing solutions to mitigate risk
• Working closely with all internal/external stakeholders while maintaining and building on these relationships
• Ensuring efficient and effective scheduling in line with customer requirements
• Dealing with potential customer conflict and providing solutions on a regular basis
• Monitoring and improving established KPI's to ensure the highest level of customer delivery is achieved
• Day to day management of Production Planners
• Lead projects on Production Planning designed to improve manufacturing efficiencies

The Person

The ideal Planning Manager will have 5+ years' experience within a high volume fast-paced multinational pharmaceutical/medical device/ FMCG manufacturing organisation. You will also have:

• Relevant Degree qualification or APICS Certification
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP would be beneficial)
• Very strong numerical and analytical skills
• A customer focused mindset with exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Possess strong leadership experience including people development and influencing decision making
