Project Manager – Planning

My client, a specialist distribution organisation, offers a comprehensive package covering both product supply and cost saving solutions to industrial customers. They service a range of high profile multinational companies providing a service package in line with the demands and best practice of modern industry. They are seeking a senior Planner for an initial 12-18 month contract to step into a Project Manager role for their customer, a multinational healthcare manufacturing organisation. You will be based on their customer’s site in West Cork and will report directly to the Facilities Manager onsite.

The Role

This Planner role has come available due to internal growth within the organisation. The role will offer you the opportunity to be a part of an ambitious and hard-working culture which encourages innovation and growth. The position offers promising progression opportunities. As part of your new role, you will be responsible for the planning coordination for both staff and customers of the engineering stores, and have responsibility for coordinating maintenance scheduling onsite. Youw ill also:

  • Produce forecast performance measurement reports
  • Review engineering change orders and update forecasts as required
  • Work and communicate cross functionally with other teams within the organization primarily operations management

The Person

The successful Planner will have 4 years’ plus experience in a planning position within an Engineering/Maintenance function with strong analytical capability and high proficiency in the use of SAP.

Experience within a GMP manufacturing environment is essential for this position and experience in scheduling and planning within a pharmaceutical organisation would be preferable. Knowledge of engineering stores maintenance is also an advantage.

This role is best suited to a results driven, self-motivated individual with excellent communication ability.
