Our client is a leading global FMCG organisation with multiple operations throughout Ireland. Due to year on year growth they are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing professional to join their expanding team in their Dublin facility.
The successful Sales Manager will be responsible for raising awareness of the business, engaging with their client base, driving visitor numbers, increasing revenue and driving yield and capacity management for this organisation.
As Sales manager, you are required to devise an annual sales plan that focuses on growth and yield, market segmentation and sales targets for all products while also managing a team of sales and reservations executives to ensure adequate training and reporting structures.
You will manage key and high value accounts while also using critical thinking and analytical skills to assess sales performance and make recommendations regarding audience segmentation and channel performance whilst deriving lead strategies for sales activities pricing strategies and lead generation.
Using your strong analytic mindset, you will assess consumer insights, business data, KPIs and lead management data to regularly inform leadership and teams on sales channels of performance and opportunities.
You will be reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing whilst also having 3 sales/reservations assistants reporting directly to you. You will foster and maintain strong relationships with marketing teams, channel managers, executive assistants etc.
The ideal Sales Manager will be degree qualified in business, marketing, PR and tourism or a related discipline with consumer marketing experience in the areas of Brand Management/experiential/events and digital marketing.
You will possess a minimum of 8 years’ experience in hospitality/tourism related fields or consumer product or experience led sales and marketing roles.
You will have experience of managing budgets and scripting and delivering presentations at senior level and good people management experience.
You will possess a strong numerical and financial outlook and have the ability to lead a team with strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
