SAP Data Analyst

Our client is an expanding global healthcare organisation that supplies in excess of 1500 products into over 50 global markets and has multiple manufacturing sites both in-house and outsourced. They have recently gone through significant growth both organically and through acquisition and are in the process of going through significant transformation throughout global functions including supply chain and IT processes. As a result they are looking to recruit a Data Quality Analyst to join theor growing team in North Dublin.

The Role:

As the Data Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring data quality is at a “ready” state for data migration into SAP. Responsibilities will include identifying, resolving and reporting on data quality issues and coordinating data cleansing activities across Europe.

As part of your role as Data Quality Analyst, you will lead various data cleansing and enrichment activities in preparation for data migration to a new SAP system and coordinate all ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting of data cleansing activities. Your remit will include:

  • Preparing and consolidating data for established, periodic review and maintaining data quality dashboards
  • Assisting in root cause analysis, investigating any data errors or anomalies and assisting in the implementation of solutions to correct data problems
  • Supporting and supervising data acquisition and reporting process for assigned projects, working with multiple operational departments
  • Communicating Data Quality non-compliance to stewards and business users to resolve issues

The ability to understand and define business rules, work with varying data formats, and develop metrics to monitor data quality will strongly assist you in this role.

The Person:

The ideal Data Quality Analyst will:

  • Demonstrate experience in data management and data cleansing
  • Be passionate about the value of quality data
  • Possess strong analytical, organisational and time management skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have project coordination experience (a plus)
  • Demonstrate the ability to present technical and non-technical information in appropriate terms to suit the audience and purpose
  • Be highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Have experience with data quality analysis tools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Have a cooperative problem solving mindset

Proficiency in MS Access and VBA, exposure to ERP systems (preferably SAP) and exposure to master data (e.g. customer, vendor, material data) are desireable.
