Trade Marketing & Insights Manager

A leading international FMCG organisation, with a large portfolio of brands (some of which are no.1 in their categories and others are challenger brands), is currently seeking to hire an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to lead a team of 2 people to manage activations, category planning and insights for one of their top performing brands.

The Position

  • The position of Trade Marketing and Insights Manager has become available within this FMCG organisation. It has two direct reports, a category manager and a trade marketing executive
  • You will be responsible for the development and the coordination of the activities to maximise the potential of the brand in the trade whilst maintaining the brand personality and values. You will be able to influence the strategy via KAM’s and field sales teams
  • This will be a fast-paced role and requires someone who can quickly develop relationships within the business and externally with agencies and customers to ensure plans are activated that are beneficial to both the company and the customer

The Person

  • You will have to have a significant amount of experience in the development of channel activation plans for the retail sector – ensuring that those plans are activated on time and to budget through all retail channels esp. Multiples
  • A Marketing Degree is required
  • Strategic Thinking with the ability to lead the sale strategy is required
