Web Analyst

One of Irelands leading telecommunications company with over 2000 employees nationwide are currently transforming their business to interact with customers in a truly digital way, through all touchpoints. Because of this transformation they are seeking to hire a digital analyst to understand what drives their customers so that they can provide the best products and services to them.

The Position

As the new Digital Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of insight and reporting on a daily and weekly basis. You will define, produce and maintain relevant, timely and consistent metrics across the websites and apps and create and maintain dashboards that measure performance. You will have ownership of the company’s different analytics platforms to ensure correct implementation and that the data being collected is captured correctly across all digital properties. Furthermore, you will have responsibility for:

  • Reporting and analysis of optimisation tools
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending tools and technology to optimise site performance and user experience
  • Developing presentations that show how users interact with advertising, websites and apps
  • Working with data analysis, business intelligence, digital agencies and market research teams internally
  • Working with other BI teams in the business to integrate web analytics into larger data warehouses to deliver richer insights and a 360-degree view of the customer
  • Collaborating with colleagues on various ad-hoc projects

The Person

The ideal Digital Analyst will have previous experience working in an analytics role in an online environment in addition to:

  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Analytics Premium, Google Tag Manager, Omniture & App Analytics
  • Experience working in web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, market research
  • A strong understanding of reporting across different online media channels, inbound marketing and funnel analysis of customer journeys

You will be an extremely data driven individual with advanced level Excel skills and the ability to use your analytical skills to provide insights as well as recommendations for changes.

Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for this role as you will be required to interact with all levels of stakeholders and explain complex data in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders.
