Audit Senior – Practice

Our client, a practice firm on the South side of Dublin are seeking a qualified Auditor to join their practice.

This firm has been established for over 30 years. The services they offer are specialised and include audit & assurance, taxation, company secretarial and outsourced book-keeping and payroll services. They also offer a range of corporate finance services including due diligence, insolvency, mergers, management buyouts etc.

This practice has an extensive and well-established client base.

They now seek an Auditor. This role is quite unique as there is an opportunity to move to an Audit Manager role in a short amount of time for the right candidate (18 months – 2 years).

The Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and managing assignments
  • Leading audit fieldwork on larger assignments
  • Supervising work of Junior staff
  • Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time in conjunction with the Partners
  • Identifying and marketing additional service offerings to existing clients
  • Liaising with the tax and company secretarial departments
  • Identifying where additional services may be provided to current clients

This is a very busy practice with a steady, longstanding client list and an extremely low rate of employee attrition.

The Person:

To be considered, you will be an ACA/ACCA qualified Auditor and will have trained in a small-medium sized practice. You will have a genuine interest in dealing with clients and be people orientated with excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary: Up to €60,000 basic + benefits package.
