Job description

A leading global biopharmaceutical company that has been bringing forward medicines and vaccines for many of the world's most challenging diseases and operates in more than 140 countries to deliver innovative health solutions is currently looking for an Automation Project Manager.

The Role

This exciting 12-month contract role will be based in Munster (hybrid) and serves as the single point of contact for delivery of Automation and IT scope in support of significant capital projects.

Key Responsibilities would include:

  • Partner with local business leadership and project teams to scope for Automation and IT aspects of capital projects bringing knowledge of Automation technologies and the Manufacturing Systems Architecture.
  • Financial accountability for Automation / IT Spend.
  • Understand and educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
  • Engages with stakeholders at all levels of projects, including active participation in Project Steering teams.

The Person

In order to be considered for this exciting daily rate Automation Project Manager role, specific requirements for the successful candidate would include:

  • Degree (L8) qualified in engineering, computer science, or a technical equivalent
  • 8+ years relevant experience in project/automation/IT support/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing front line supervision
  • Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
