Our client, a leading food service organisation based in Dublin with bakeries situated globally in over 50 locations, are looking to add a business developer to their team to help the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships while also recognising new business opportunities.
As Business Developer, you will be responsible for managing and developing both existing and new food service accounts whilst looking to identify and target business opportunities in new accounts and expanding current offerings with customers.
The development and maintenance of relationships with key accounts is extremely important and thus you will maintain contact patterns with existing customers, demonstrating excellent customer service and product/industry knowledge in these interactions either on the phone or in person.
Given your determination, you will drive to improve your knowledge of the products and industry to share information with the customer, offering new food solutions/concepts to customers.
With your analytical mindset, you will analyse sales results by customer in order to establish current trading situations and trends and calculate the appropriate time to meet with these customers and volume of visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a culinary education or experience and be able to communicate effectively and in detail with chefs and have a proven track record in the food service industry.
You will have an analytical mindset in order to process and interpret sales data and also using this data with a knowledge of sales and margins processes.
A very results driven individual who recognises the need to build strong relationships with customers would be a strong fit for this position.
A strong appreciation and interest in food service and the products themselves would be hugely desirable.
