Our client is fast becoming a global giant in the pharmaceutical industry and is continuing to successfully expand its impressive product portfolio and its team. They're seeking to appoint a GES Category Manager to join their operation based in Leinster.

The Role

As the GES Category Manager, you will:

• Manage the portfolio of CMO's
• Ensure any contractual risks are managed
• Have overall responsibility for the operations performance of the suppliers allocated
• P&L responsibility and ensure budgets are achieved
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
• Support internal customers in the resolution of any supplier issues
• Conduct performance reviews of suppliers against their contractual obligations

The Person

• 10-15 years' experience in experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• MBA or Degree qualified
• Ability to communicate effectively and develop strong relationships
• Evidence of continuous improvement techniques
• Black/Green Belt would be an advantage
