Global Workforce Solutions Manager

This multinational pharmaceutical global business solutions organisation provides service and support to their medical and animal healthcare product departments across the EMEA region. Due to phenomenal success in delivering customer service, accountancy and supply chain support throughout the EMEA region, they are now seeking a Global Workforce Solutions Manager. This person will work closely with the leadership team and will have the opportunity to drive the business forward through exceptional HR performance. Reporting to the Director of Global Workforce Solutions this is an exciting opportunity with ample and tangible career opportunities.

The Role:

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of 5-6 both based in Cork and in the US
  • Lead and support work-stream, working closely with the Director of Global Workforce Solutions
  • Ensure the team effectively provides solutions to all points of escalation directed at them
  • Support new projects, such as case management and ensure the team manages the systems effectively
  • Drive a culture of agility and over performance
  • Ensure that each team member is a change system expert & drives both individual and departmental capabilities

The Person:

  • 2-3 years people management experience, ideally will have managed a virtual team
  • A background in global HR operations is ideal though HR is not essential
  • Hold demonstrable project management experience, ideally Pan European or global projects
  • Is highly effective in stakeholder management, can win over business leaders who are resistant to change
  • Whilst not a technical role, the ideal candidate will be systems savvy and can identify potential solutions utilising existing IT systems
  • Be agile and flexible
  • Highly organised and can work effectively through changing priorities
  • Can affect change and promotes this across the business
  • Is a highly effective communicator, is diplomatic and influences upwards
  • Has an appetite and passion for success for both business and self and can work collaboratively
  • Be minimum degree qualified in a relevant discipline
