In this pivotal Irish Lights role, the Head of HR reports directly to the Chief Executive and works closely with the SMT, managing a well-established and committed HR team and leading this unique organisation's people and culture agenda.

Having responsibility for the operation of a critical, reliable, and technologically advanced navigation infrastructure for the maritime sector around the island of Ireland, that includes lighthouses, beacons, buoys, and electronic aids to navigation. Irish Lights as seen recently on RTE media, has a team of approximately 120 staff, made up of wide variety of engineering, marine, technical, craftwork, corporate services, and support staff.

As our Head of Human Resources, you will be joining Irish Lights at a very exciting time of ambitious and significant change. This is an important, progressive and rewarding role, tasked with delivering our new HR strategy, developing organisational capabilities, as well as attracting, developing, and retaining new and existing talent.

This role will be a hybrid role based at the state-of-the-art Head Quarters based at Dun Laoghaire Pier, where parking is available, and the offices are adjacent to Dun Laoghaire Luas and train station.
