Job description

Recognised as a global leader in their business sector, due to continued growth and planned expansion into emerging markets, a leading organisation in Dublin North seek to hire a commercially minded HR Business Partner to work in close collaboration with HR and Site leadership in Ireland. The organisation is undertaking a journey of transformation as they move from large indigenous to multi-national and as direct result have seen significant investment both in their people and capital. The HR Business Partner will support and drive this transformation along with strategically driving the HR agenda for this newly branded US multi-national FMCG leader.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Group HR Director, your role as a HR Business Partner will be to:

  • Shape and deliver the HR agenda, working closely with your HR colleagues.
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to the site leadership and employees across a number of Irish business units, using a clear blend of operational and project HR partnering.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of all HR initiatives within the local 'People Plan', and for the delivery of initiatives within their own Business Units.
  • Lead and collaborate with national HR colleagues on various projects and initiatives that support business strategy.
  • Research, plan and coordinate all training, talent management, L&D needs for the group as well as coaching and mentoring managers within performance management. You will leverage the expertise from your colleagues in learning and development, talent acquisition etc to deliver these needs.
  • You will provide tactical support on HR issues as they arise, whilst ensuring the integrity and ethos of the organisation is not compromised.
  • You will utilise your strategic capability to influence at the SLT, where you will sit.

The Person

  • Proven HR Management / HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment highly desirable.
  • Ability to apply practical and commercial HR solutions.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing change effectively.
  • Track record of guiding and working closely with Senior Managers and employees essential.
  • Relationship building as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. You will be comfortable in challenging decision in a healthy and positive mindset.
  • You will have experience of being the trusted adviser at Site Lead level, influencing is critical as they are seeking the HR expert to provide reactive and pragmatic tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement/management.
