Job description

HRM Search has exclusively partnered with a global manufacturing organisation and seek a HR Business Partner to join their HR team. With 200 employees, this organisation has seen significant growth in recent years with new product introductions, expansion of line capacity, and increased global project activity.

The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a key member of the HR Team and will be a key contributor to all HR services, policies and programs for this Cork facility.

The Role

This role requires a hands-on, roll up the sleeves approach as key to the success of this role will be the ability to understand how the business operates, what are the site's core strategic objectives and then work through how HR can support this. The role of this HR Business Partner is to create best practice across the site. Working closely with the HR Manager, whom you will report to, you have the opportunity to shape the role and the HR function.

The key duties will include key operational functions such as HRIS improvement, Partnering with Front Line Managers, HR Business Support, Talent Sourcing & Acquisition (e.g. needs identification, recruitment life cycle), Talent Management & Development (e.g. team leaders coaching, performance management, talent review preparation), C&B (e.g. Annual Salary Review proposition), CSR and provides support for HR projects.


You will continuously improve the delivery and development of Human Resources at the site, in line with Site Strategy and Group Human Resources initiatives. This position requires the HR Business Partner to connect, understand and influence different stakeholders across varying levels of the organisation. This role is ideally suited to a passionate, agile and curious business partner who can provide a broad range of HR Services to all functional areas on site.

The Person

  • HR degree or similar with 5 years' plus HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment, though not essential
  • A professional business partner with the highest standards of integrity
  • Experience in leading employee relations
  • An agile professional who seeks out continuous improvements
  • Strong work ethic required with evident enthusiasm for the role
  • Strong process improvement experience, in particular with HRIS
