Our client is a renowned leading Irish retailer based in Dublin who is looking for a Marketing Manager to their team on a permanent basis. The Marketing Manager will develop, drive and implement the marketing plan in line with strategic marketing and business objectives across a number of key category divisions in a fast paced, multichannel environment.
As Marketing Manager, you will drive and implement a customer centric marketing plan that reflects and evolves our premium brand positioning, meets business goals and exceeds customer expectations and be responsible for commercial success of all activity.
In this position, you will create and deliver an activity and events calendar, driving both customer acquisition and retention through memorable customer experiences and communications that inspire, excite and generate ‘talk ability’.
While developing marketing campaigns, ensuring all elements of these are planned in advance while ensuring all customer touch points are incorporated in these campaigns through collaboration with marketing/creative/online teams.
These campaigns will also be analysed and measured by the Marketing Manager, pulling key learnings from these while also monitoring the marketing budget on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Within the scope of this position, you will work closely with buying teams to ensure their category and brand objectives are met, CRM teams to utilise date efficiently but also store managers to ensure effective implementation of campaigns and also provide excellent briefs to both internal design teams and external agency support.
Candidates will have a qualification in Marketing or a relevant discipline with demonstrable experience in consumer marketing. Experience in retail industry would be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience in brand and activations, having had primary responsibility for developing and executing marketing campaigns, programs and events in a dynamic consumer environment is essential for this position.
Candidates will have a strong commercial acumen, understand how to best align marketing campaigns with commercial objectives and demonstrate forward planning skills but also be agile and adaptable to change.
Previous experience in leading and developing teams is essential for this position in addition to strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, develop and support a team to deliver to the best of their potential, in a fast paced, demanding environment.
