Job description

A rapidly growing Irish Financial Services organisation is seeking an experience HR Professional to support in the building of their HR function. Viewed as distributors in the Financial Services sector, this organisation are innovative to its core and places the highest regard for both their customers and employees. With a current headcount of 40, this is set to double over the next 12-18 months. As a result, the successful candidate who will report to the COO will be required the support of a HR professional to support the following:

The Role

  • Set up of key polices and procedures, eg leave, hybrid working policy.
  • Review existing policies and contracts of employment and determine changes where appropriate.
  • Develop a performance management system, including the identification of online tools/systems that can support this. Key to this is creating a culture of open communication, clear goals & purpose and regular feedback session with line managers.
  • Through focus groups identify the company values, behaviours that drive this and communicate accordingly.
  • Map, lead and support succession planning and career development programs. Create an L&D Program, working closely with the COO.
  • Provide coaching and support to people leaders.
  • Acts as HR Advisor to the business.
  • Provides day to day administration support where required.

The Person

  • The successful candidate will have 4-5 years HR experience in a generalist capacity and will bring their expertise to support existing and new employees during a period of significant growth.
  • You will challenge the status quo, asking the question "Why not"?
  • Ideally you will have experience in working in the Financial Services or Professional Services sector.

The Reward

  • This is a very interesting remit, with the opportunity to shape and develop a company culture and embed structures to support this.
  • There is flexibility in structuring your working week - 5 mornings or 3 day full days. The organisation are also introducing a hybrid working model post Level 5 restrictions (60% in office; 40% WFH).
