Procurement Analyst

A global Performance Nutrition organisation with expanding operations in Ireland are seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst professional to join their team in their flagship manufacturing facility. This is a Temporary role.

The Role:

  • Complete Vendor spend analysis and review in preparation for on-boarding suppliers onto the new ARIBA system
  • Assist with Vendor categorisation and communication in advance of new processes
  • Develop Supplier Performance Management surveys and scorecards to suit GPN EMEA requirements
  • Provide assistance in dealing with administrative queries on POs, invoices and resolving invoice log issues with Accounts Payable
  • Administration of vendor set up through the current eform process and assist users where necessary
  • Assist with setting up SAP contracts, Info records & other SAP admin processes
  • Assist with RFPs/Tenders/Contract reviews as required
  • Data analysis of spend volume across regions and categories as required
  • Vendor categorisation analysis for ARIBA Network on-boarding
  • Agreement of procurement methodologies with internal business users prior to roll out
  • Work with vendors and internal users to create appropriate catalogues in ARIBA
  • Internal training and business support for users
  • Roll out including cutover from existing SAP POs and admin issues associated
  • Assist procurement team with use of the ARIBA Sourcing & Contracts and SIPM modules – e.g. setting up RFIs, running Sourcing Projects, setting up Supplier Information Management processes and reports, Supplier scorecards, Contracts etc.

The Person

  • Procurement Administration experience (1 years minimum) working in a fast paced environment in a FMCG, technology or services company
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding and user experience of online procurement systems, experience with SAP/SAP BO/MS Excel with an intermediate to an advanced level is essential
  • Experience with SAP ARIBA is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage project demands along with day to day activities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of budgets and cost management, along with KPI management and reporting experience
  • Strong analytical approach to performance management and reporting
  • Business-related degree level and/or relevant Purchasing Qualifications required
  • Experience in direct ingredients procurement desirable
