Our client is a Global Services and Distribution Company, servicing Fortune 100 companies from their EU hub in North Dublin. Due to internal progression, a vacancy has arisen for a Procurement Specialist to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a dynamic procurement team, you will be in direct contact with my client’s key global suppliers. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will be part of a team of 10 responsible for purchasing from global suppliers for global distribution centres. You will be involved in RFQs, and QBRS, ensuring a strong relationship with vendors is maintained and there is a constant improvement in quality and delivery of product. Inventory management will also be an important aspect of this role due to the fast-paced nature of our client’s industry.
My client places a huge emphasis on continuous improvement and development of the organisation and their employees. As such, they are looking for candidates with a continuous improvement mindset who are passionate about being involved in value-stream projects.
The successful candidate will have 3+ year’s procurement experience, with negotiations, ideally at a global level. A background in Technology and Hardware would be an advantage. APICS or IIPMM accreditation would be favourable.
