Product Life Cycle Project Manager

Our client, a world leading provider of generic Pharmaceutical product distribution are looking for a Product Life Cycle Project Manager to join their Cork based facility on a 9-month contract basis. The organisation is continuously expanding it’s operations, offering the right candidate an opportunity to gain valuable Pharmaceutical exposure on a global level.

The Role

As Product Life Cycle Project Manager you will:

  • Manage and coordinate the launch of pharmaceutical drug products and new SKUs on time and within budget
    • New SKU launch from existing pharmaceutical drug product
    • First time product launch (new product, new contract manufacturer and new market)
  • Foster a close working relationship with multiple departments at a local level but also with contract manufacturers organisations
  • Develop detailed product launch plans through Microsoft Project and identify critical milestones
  • Lead supplier meetings, follow-up on action items, generate and distribute meeting minutes to all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Establish and report metrics on progress versus targets for launch activities
  • Communicate project progress and metrics on product launch activities to the project stakeholders and Senior Management

The Person

  • Solid understanding and knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Educated to BSc or MSc honours degree level or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Microbiology or other scientific discipline
  • 10+ years’ regulated pharmaceutical experience in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment
