Production Shift Manager

A global manufacturing organisation here in Dublin, are looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will have, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for all aspects of production and people management for their shift team.
• You must demonstrate Safety First Leadership to ensure associates are engaged in maintaining and operating work areas, equipment, and processes in a safe and orderly manner
• The Production Shift Manager is responsible for creating an environment that promotes engagement through open communication, performance reviews and achieving leadership standards.
• You will be involved in the hiring process and training of personnel.
• You will use ERP systems to maximise efficiencies across production.
• You actively contribute to the business' continuous improvement strategy.

The Person:

• You will have extensive production management within a fast-paced manufacturing organisation.
• You will be degree qualified in a relevant field.
• You will require significant experience coaching and motivating a large team of production personnel.
• Lean manufacturing and Production Planning capabilities would be an asset.
