They are currently looking for a Quality Control Manager to join their operation.

The Role

As Quality Control Manager (Analytical / Chemistry) you will report into the Site QC Lead and will be responsible for supervising and leading the laboratory release function including Raw Materials, Intermediates, DPI and API's.

Responsibilities will include:

  • You will provide technical support in areas of chromatography, investigations/deviations, troubleshooting, instrument calibration/qualification, and regulatory requirements.
  • This role is to provide a strong degree of technical and compliance leadership within the QC function as well as driving Quality System improvements and operational efficiencies within the laboratory and representing the Quality Department at meetings both on and offsite.
  • You will be responsible for training, coaching and development of QC Analysts and have input to performance review and assessment.
  • You will lead the Functional Area in the laboratory, providing direction, leadership and support in investigations, deviations, GC, HPLC, labatory documentation, lab testing, equipment qualification and collection of data.
  • You will be responsible for driving Quality System improvements.

The Person

  • Minimum of BA degree in Science (Chemistry).
  • 5-10 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry (within Quality Control).
  • 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory/management role.
