A great opportunity has come available for a Software Developer to join an expanding team at a Dublin-based firm bringing innovative technology to market. This is a remote position, with a competitive daily rate, and an initial 12-month contract on offer, with the opportunity for further extension.

The Position:

• Reporting to the Technical Lead, the Software Developer will be required to provide full life-cycle project support and implementation for software development projects liaising with customers, developers, and wider internal stakeholders. Providing Qualification and Validation support for process improvement, corrective work, and projects.

• Hands-on coding in a variety of languages particularly .Net and JavaScript
• Adhering to source control procedures

• Draft validation protocols and finalise reports.

• Develop documentation systems to manage existing and developing solutions

• Actively participates in cross functional teamwork as an influential team member.

The Person:

• The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple technologies and willing to explore unused technologies.

• Knowledge of .Net, JavaScript & SQL and able to adapt to multiple languages/technologies.

• Experience of working in a software development project environment and integrating with existing products and code bases
• Being up to date with emerging technologies and willing to bring them to the table where appropriate.
• Experience/willingness to support older technologies if required.
• Solution-orientated with a dynamic and logical approach to fulfilling requirements.
• Pragmatic approach to software development.
• Capable of working remotely on own initiative.
• A self-starter and team player with effective prioritisation skills.
• Keen to learn and confident in asking questions when needed.

• Geospatial concepts
• Xamarin mobile development
