Utilities Manager

Ireland’s largest producer and distributor of consumer products are seeking to hire a Utilities Manager to join their Engineering team. You will be based at their head office in Tipperary which is the company’s main production and storage facility. The company boasts a nationwide and global network across the customer sales and distribution sector.

The Role:

As part of the engineering team, the Utilities Manager will manage a team of four technicians. Your key responsibilities will be prioritising tasks and efficiently delegating the workload within your team whilst coaching, reviewing and developing your team members. Other core areas of your role will include:

  • Analysing trends across all utilities and energy processes
  • Participating in utilities budgeting and financial tracking and managing same to optimise spend as required
  • Monitoring environmental impacts relating to energy processes on site

The Person:

The ideal Utilities Manager will be degree educated with a good knowledge of manufacturing principles, tools and techniques along with a strong background in projects and budget management.

You will have demonstrable experience in leading a team and working towards targets and KPI’s. You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and standards
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and record trends
