Job description

Our client is looking for a skilled Accounting Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for managing and executing various accounting tasks with a particular focus on audit processes and utilizing SAP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

This role is Dublin based and offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and organize audit documentation and records.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Enter and manage data within the SAP system.
  • Generate financial reports and analyses using SAP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong background in audit processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using SAP for financial management.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
