My client, a European pharmaceutical company distributing pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers and they are a leader in the generics market.

They are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant/Finance Assistant on a short-term contract for 2-3 months with an immediate start.

The main areas of responsibility are:

• Processing AP invoices and follow up.
• Daily cash and banks: processing bank statements and daily cash file.
• Weekly cash including payment proposals.
• Preparations on monthly VAT and Intrastat.
• Some assistance to the month end closing process.

To be considered, you will:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent and have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• SAP knowledge would be an asset.
• We are seeking candidates with strong analytical skills, a strong team player.
• Fluent English (other languages would be beneficial especially Dutch).

Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 pro-rata depending on experience.
