Job description

My client a global giant in the pharmaceutical sector are seeking an experienced FP&A/Finance Business Partner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide decision-making advice to various teams within a manufacturing environment by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks
  • Financial & trend analysis
  • Implementation of best practice
  • Provide analytical support to strategic activities such as business development, due diligence, third-party deals, partnerships, business evaluation and divestment proposals
  • Provide support on the oversight of appropriate revenue recognition
  • Forecasting review
  • Accountable for risk identification and management for strong financial governance
  • Add commentaries to standard management reports based on an in-depth knowledge of the business
  • Responsible for quarterly judgment report creation
  • Review management accounts (actual, forecasts, budgets) to support in signing off on income statement and balance sheet
  • Assist in the management of corporate approvals

To be considered:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with a minimum of 1 year post qualified experience
  • Experience within an FP&A/Management Accounting/business partnering role previously
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills
  • Experience working with client groups with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels
  • Understanding of underlying business drivers
  • Proficient financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrixed environment
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Experience working in the Finance function in a global manufacturing organisation
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a project using project management skills
  • Finance/business degree
  • Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results (Unison, TM1, SAP, JDE, etc)
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Experience working in commercial P&L environment

Salary: up to €70,000 + benefits package.
