Job description

HRM Search Partners are working on behalf of one their strategic partners to appoint an experienced Workday Enablement Specialist. The organisation are based in Cork with on-site presence required to support developing key working relationships within this global manufacturing organisation.

This role will play a pivotal part in configuring, managing, and optimising Workday solutions to align with the organisation's HR processes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, project management skills, and a deep understanding of HR workflows.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with HR teams to understand their needs and translate them into Workday technical specifications.
  • Create interfaces in Workday for smooth integration with HR applications.
  • Manage various Workday modules to optimise their use and upkeep.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Workday enhancements and configurations.
  • Conduct regular system audits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Assist in data migration and system upgrades, maintaining data integrity and system stability.
  • Develop and implement Workday training programmes for HR staff.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and best practices for system improvements.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on Workday experience, with certifications preferred.
  • HCM experience is a must.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • Proficient in Workday configuration, interface development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing complex HR systems with a focus on data integrity.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven track record of delivering results.
