Job description

Our client is a biopharmaceutical organisation focused on developing innovative new treatments that help improve the lives of people with rare and orphan diseases with global operations in Ireland, Europe, the US, and the Middle East.

The Position

  • Develop and drive robust processes for the coordination of samples, API, DS and DP inventory movements amongst the Manufacturing and the Supply Chain team, to ensure on time receipt of product at all stages of the production.
  • Build product data library to define strict shipping rules together with CMOs and CPOs.
  • Manage the movement of samples, Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API), Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) inventory across Amryt's network.
  • Point of contact for Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) and Contract Packaging.
  • Organizations (CPO) for all samples, API, DS and DP inventory movement related matters.
  • Responsible for suppliers set up/changes to ensure uninterrupted transportation of samples, API, DS and DP.
  • Oversee the logistics global network, carriers, shippers, logistics vendors.
  • Assess needs and support Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions on logistics aspects (improvements, implementations).
  • Actively undertake continuous improvements in the logistics area, i.e. carriers, shipper boxes and containers.
  • Participates to ad-hoc projects related to the logistics network, i.e. Transportation Qualifications.
  • Record and investigate quality related issues linked to samples, API, DS and DP movements with the support of the Quality Assurance Team.
  • Support CAPA implementations linked to the logistics function.

The Person

  • Experience in a dynamic pharma environment with hands on experience in supply chain logistics activities.
  • Advanced excel skills combined with strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
  • Strong background in product movement, customer service & inventory management.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Experience of GDP, complaints and deviations management.
