Job description

Highly effective, state of the art company based on the North side of Dublin seek a standalone Payroll Specialist to join their organisation for a 12-18-month contract. This role can be salaried or can be a day rate contract.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an in-house payroll processing role for employees in Ireland only.

Position Description:

  • Gathering information on hours worked for employee's.
  • Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a payroll IT system.
  • Payment approvals.
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through Core Payroll.
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
  • Prepare reports as required for senior management, finance department etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years' experience as Payroll Specialist.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Experience in Core systems is desirable but not essential.
  • IPASS qualified preferable.

Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 + benefits
