Job description
Highly effective, state of the art company based on the North side of Dublin seek a standalone Payroll Specialist to join their organisation for a 12-18-month contract. This role can be salaried or can be a day rate contract.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an in-house payroll processing role for employees in Ireland only.
Position Description:
- Gathering information on hours worked for employee's.
- Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a payroll IT system.
- Payment approvals.
- Prepare and execute pay orders through Core Payroll.
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
- Prepare reports as required for senior management, finance department etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 Years' experience as Payroll Specialist.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is essential.
- Experience in Core systems is desirable but not essential.
- IPASS qualified preferable.
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 + benefits
