A global medical device healthcare solutions company who are committed to improving lives through medical technologies, services, and solutions, who operate across 350 facilities in 150 countries, with an innovative portfolio of over 46,000 patents, are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Technical Services Group, responsible for maintenance, capital projects, stores, workshop, finance, and compliance across the Galway site..
Reporting into the PMO, you will have but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities/activities:
Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process.
Monitors program / project / system status, budgets and timetables.
Gathers and compiles information for reports. Set up cost monitoring and reporting system and procedures.
Reporting on Contractor Vendor payments. Purchase Order Management / Cash flow projections.
Monitor cost from vendors or contractors, explores variances, managing issues in conjunction with PMO, deals with cost overseas and recovery.
Assists in budget preparation for projects and prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the PMO/Finance Section.
Works on clerical and administrative assignments that may require application of prior experience.
You must have 2+ years' experience in a previous project focused position.
You will need a Bachelors' or Masters' degree in a relevant field.
You will be competent in Microsoft Excel and Word
You must have strong communication skills
