Job description

Our client, a new joint venture within the transport sector in Ireland, are due to be fully operational by March 2021. They are seeking an experienced Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator to join their rapidly growing team in Dublin City Centre on a contract basis.

The Role

Duties and responsibilities of the QHSE Administrator will include:

  • Supporting the QHSE Officer in the day to day responsibilities
  • Responsible for company Document Control
  • Conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures and business rules are followed and internal investigation if any issue arises
  • Acting as the company H&S Co-Ordinator
  • Liaising with HR with regards to staff training

The Person

You will have skills and experience in the following:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Diploma or BSc in relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated relevant experience
  • ISO Accreditation 9001 essential
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 environmental system standard desirable
  • Trained ISO Auditor would be beneficial
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office
  • Be able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards health & safety
  • Organised and able to meet tight deadlines with excellent time management skills
