Within its Medical Devices Division, there is significant investment at present being undertaken in their new manufacturing facility in Kilkenny and an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Controls Engineer to join their engineering team.

You will need to be a master multitasker as your goal will be to ensure that the plant is running smoothly and efficiently while also meeting quality and safety standards. You will design, implement and maintain processes that help manufacturers increase productivity. This role will often require you to work with many departments and external entities in order to accomplish goals.

The Position

• Problem solving with a variety of features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and coordination requirements.
• Control and implement engineering changes.
• Design and lead engineering studies and experiments.
• Analyse problems and identify their impact.
• Set design and process requirements.
• Complete documentation in accordance with business standards.

The Person

• Level 7 NFQ qualification in Industry Automation, Mechatronics, Computer science, Electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of engineering or operational experience.
