A global Food & Beverage organisation sought to appoint a Head of Regulatory Affairs to lead compliance across multiple European markets and product categories and provide strategic guidance to both local manufacturing sites and global leadership teams. The client’s products are supplied into other businesses as key ingredients which necessitated a deep technical understanding of food regulations, product safety and compliance frameworks across the European market.

The assignment was challenging due to the limited pool of senior professionals with pan-European regulatory knowledge, niche product-category expertise and the capability to influence at both operational and strategic levels across a global matrix environment.
