Experienced Automation Engineer required for a leading consulting business to work with a number of clients in the Munster region. The business is experiencing substantial growth following the successful completion of key client projects. As a market leader in their field you will join a collaborative and engaged team to support client operations across sites based in Munster.

The Position

• Report directly into the Project Manager and joining a team of 13 Engineers across the region.
• Located remotely with some on-site requirements based on business demands.
• Focus on process automation reviews in conjunction with on-site teams to deliver bespoke solutions.
• Lead network configuration and support customer installs as required.
• Provide technical support to customers acting as point of contact for any issues as they arise.
• Advise clients on optimising their control systems.

The Person

• Third level Degree from any Engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years' industry experience in similar role within a highly automated manufacturing or processing environment.
• The successful candidate will have experience in programming DCS.
• Valid driving license.
