HRM Search Partners have been exclusively retained by a leading steel distributor and manufacturing organisation that is seeking a Business Development Manager to develop and secure new sales opportunities, through market research, networking and lead generation within the Territory. This person will build on and maintain existing relationships within their region.

The Position

• Establish, manage, and maintain relationships with current and target customers across the Construction and
• Engineering business sectors.Develop and secure new sales opportunities, through market research, networking and lead generation within the Territory.
• Develop and implement robust Business Development Plans for key accounts within the Territory.Develop a sales pipeline for the Territory, to provide visibility and ensue alignment with the Supply chain and Production teams.
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the company's value proposition, products and services to maximise sales opportunities and leverage upsell and cross sell opportunities.
• Update on a daily basis the company's CRM and ERP systems with enquiries, quotes and order details.

The Person

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development Manager role, within the Construction and/or Engineering Sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth, with a focus on new business development.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering outstanding customer service and business development within the Territory.
