Job description
A Global Bio/Pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Business Process Manager to oversee and optimise procurement processes within their global supply chain team. This person's core objective will be to identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement operations in order to align with strategic objectives.
The Position
You will work closely and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure commitment for process improvement initiatives.
Lead the design and redesign of procurement business processes in order to eliminate waste and optimise resource utilisation.
Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the business processes while establishing mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and reporting
You will develop change management strategies and training to facilitate the adaptation of new processes and technologies.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication and relationship building across multiple functions.
Leverage technology solutions such as workflow automation, business process management and ERP systems to enhance process efficiencies.
Ensure compliance and governance with regulatory and industry standards while establishing governance framework to maintain accountability.
Document current and future state process flows including inputs, outputs, dependencies and decision points using standardised methodologies such as BPMN.
The Person
You will have the ability to drive operational excellence and business transformation initiatives across procurement operations.
Solid understanding of business process management principles, methodologies and tools.
Degree qualified with relevant certifications being beneficial (Six Sigma, BPM)
Experience working with SAP Ariba system
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent project management and communication skills
Proficiency in process modelling and documentation tools (Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart etc)
