Job description

Our client is a leading global consumer products organisation within the healthcare industry sector. They are currently experiencing some positive change, resulting in the expansion of their Operational Excellence function. They require a highly experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to join their manufacturing site in Waterford on a permanent basis.

The Position

  • Reporting into the Site OpEx Lead, this role will be responsible for analysing business performance to monitor and maximise efficiency, OEE and deliver site objectives.

  • Ensure the new bespoke system is developed and implemented correctly and in line with the ways of working of all areas of the site.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and driving the improvement projects to enable an increase in productivity and to remove any barriers to continuous improvement progress.

  • The CI Lead will be expected to develop innovative solutions and ensure sustainability, in order to drive business goals.

  • You will network with other internal sites, to exchange learning and good practice as well as mentoring site management and the OpEx Team.

The Person

  • You will have prior experience within a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG or pharmaceuticals.

  • You must have a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

  • You will have at least 3 years continuous improvement experience, delivering Lean and change management initiatives.

  • You will be a highly skilled communicator and preferably aspire to progress into a people leadership role.

  • It would be highly advantageous to have been involved in an ERP implementation previously and to have a strong understanding of data analytics.
