Job description

We place the wellbeing of our employees at the heart of everything we do. We work in a highly flexible environment, our hybrid working model for those commutable to our Dublin offices provides for up to 3 days working from home and 2 days gathered in our offices. We use this time to collaborate and train together. Those who live elsewhere in Ireland work full time at home, with occasional attendance in Dublin for coaching and collaboration exercises. All employees, irrespective of location meet throughout the day on our MS Teams platform

Right now, as we emerge from the pandemic period, many people are reflecting on whether what worked before for them as employees, still works now. With good reason too. For lots of us, while we are driven, ambitious and really want to make a difference, work should not be our only focus. While we seek meaningful challenge, we also seek balance with our personal interests, our family lives, and our own wellbeing. Not all career paths provide this, ours at HRM do.

We are interested in talking to people who work in the Engineering community about applying their skills with a new purpose; to enable the success of our clients through the search for and assessment of the very best professional and leadership talent. If you are interested in taking your career in a different direction, a career as a Search Consultant may present as an interesting path.

We are also interested in talking with experienced Engineer recruiters who wish to move into retained search solutions. High service-oriented professionals who would like to consider a new challenge in search and talent acquisition.

All of our consultants have joined from successful backgrounds in their original disciplines. Several began their working lives as Engineers but felt their drive and people orientation were not being satisfied. The professionals who are successful in our world are well organised, possess a strong customer / service orientation, are engaging and people focused. They are curious.

We invest significantly in personal growth and career development. We work to develop competencies such as influence, mediation, relationship management and communication. All our employees participate in continuous improvement teams and engagement teams.

So what will you be doing? Firstly, there is no typical day. The role of a Search Consultant is dynamic and involves:

  1. Establishing and building client relationships

  2. Delivery a variety of talent solutions to support client needs.

  3. Identifying with our internal research team, the very best talent in the market and connect them with the most interesting opportunities.

  4. Personal development and skills training.

Our compensation programme provides highly competitive salaries with significant monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities. We provide generous annual leave and early finishes.

If you are curious enough to make contact to find more, then you just might be taking the right first step on your new path. If you are an experienced recruiter and would like a discreet conversation before application, please send a brief mail and a call will be arranged.
