Our client is a national leading business in the automotive industry sector. They are hiring a General Manager to run operations within their service function. The position will be based at their Dublin site.

The Role

• Managing daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.
• Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives annually and submitting time projections to corporate management for approval.
• Managing the financial targets set for the business and overseeing the monthly financial statement to ensure it is complete and accurate.
• Ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability of the company while providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Delivering excellent day to day operational performance across all indicators; people, safety, quality, service, efficiency and cost.

The Person

• You must be a strong people leader with prior experience managing a unionised environment.
• Possess sound business acumen with the capability to control costs and increase profits.
• Proven track record managing day-to-day operations within a customer centric sector.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of dealership operations.
• A level 8 degree qualification is preferred.
