Job description

This market leading international financial services group seeks to appoint an ambitious and passionate HR leader to join the organisation. Reporting to the Group CHRO, this role combines a blend of strategic and operational HR business leadership and is responsible for playing a significant role in the design and implementation of various people, talent, culture and OD related initiatives. The Role

Managing an established team of HR professionals, the successful appointee will be responsible for:

  • Partnering closely with the Group HRDand executive team to develop the culture of the company as it continues to grow, embracing what is special about the culture and coaching leaders to role model the core values
  • Applying HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the business leadership
  • Interpreting business plans, diagnosing the people implications and translating that into a clear people plan
  • Providing trusted and expert advice on a range of HR matters such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, leadership and learning and talent
  • Leading in the design and implementation of programs and initiatives that re-enforce a high performing and engaged culture e.g. performance and talent management, EVP, reward and recognition, employee engagement
  • Designing and managing the development of L&OD plans to deliver on the capability needs of employees, managers and leaders, with a particular focus on leadership/management development
  • Coaching and supporting managers on all aspects of the employee experience from sourcing talent to ER issues, ensuring the manager and employee experience reflect the core values
  • Facilitating and driving strategic discussions with leaders/managers
  • Acting as a role model and mentoring for the HR agenda within the organisation

The Person

  • The ideal candidate will have strong senior HRBP/HRM/Head of HR level experience (7 years'+), preferably within a financial services / multinational organisation. They will have a proven capability in partnering with senior leaders
  • They will have a flexible attitude and a resilient approach, and will enjoy working with senior leaders to really shape a high performing and engaged organisation structure
  • Team management is highly desirable with clear coaching skills
  • Clearly demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across various levels of management within an organisation
