Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical organisation with a talented workforce, exceptional technical capabilities and facilities. The new HR Business Partner this business seek will focus on positively impacting colleagues and leaders in the organisation and ensure that HR processes and programs are implemented in a manner that is valuable and enabling to business goals.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support in an efficient and effective manner. You will have responsibility for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations issues, Strategic HR Planning and Culture and Engagement projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an established HR professional to join a progressive team.

The Role

  • Proactively engage with functional leadership to develop the people agenda and implement all elements of it.
  • Partnering with leaders and managers to provide people support and advice particularly in the areas of Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
  • Developing organisational capability and succession planning to anticipate change in business and leadership requirements.
  • Overseeing the recruitment of senior leaders and business critical roles in the functional remit.
  • Undertake ad hoc HR projects in line with business demands and requirements.
  • Provide consistent support to colleagues in the areas of performance, disciplinary, grievance and probation.
  • Drive a positive employee relations culture across the organisation.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have a background in a fast paced, progressive and dynamic environment with extensive experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations and a proven ability to manage third party level relationships effectively. The ability to build trusting relationship is key and an ability to balance conflicting demands and manage issues successfully will be important, together with:

  • Senior stakeholder management.
  • Ability to influence and all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
