Job description

An organisation with over 1200 employees across Limerick, Dublin and Belfast is seeking a dynamic and influential HR Business Partner to join their HR Team in Limerick. You will be responsible for the commercial organisation ensuring you are actively leading the HR agenda and supporting the business in this demanding business. The organisation have secured significant investment and the CEO is driving the People Agenda which is being led by an impressive HR Director for Ireland.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Director, you will drive the HR strategy across the commercial organisation whilst holding your self accountable for results. You will also:

  • Be the driver in transformation management, supporting coaching and guiding management and its employee through new work practices
  • Lead cultural alignment with the new investors, in particular moving from indigenous to multi-national
  • Support the organisation in driving behavioural changes, being mindful of tradition and progression
  • Ensure effective performance management, mitigating risk through early intervention with management
  • Ensure all employee relations matters are dealt with dignity, respect, fairness, authenticity
  • Drive efficiencies across the HR function, simplify processes with a practical approach
  • Lead or part-time in National and International projects

The Person

You will need to hold at least 5 years HR Business Partner experience, ideally within a multi-national working environment. The ideal candidate will have supported a medium to large sales function. In addition, you will:

  • Have the capability of supporting an organisation through significant change, growth and investment
  • Be entirely passionate about HR and can communicate with ease the return of investment on any HR program
  • Have a broad and in-depth knowledge of talent development, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, learning and development and HR projects (ideally systems focused projects)
