HR Consultant

A leading consultancy practice are seeking an experienced HR professional to join them as a HR Consultant to work with them in a stimulating, fast paced and challenging environment.

The Role

This person will be part of an organisation who are passionate about adding real client value. As HR Consultant, you will be working across the full HR suite within a fun and sociable working environment. This is a permanent opportunity to join their team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and providing reliable and commercially focused HR advice in various areas including; employment law, best practice HR
  • Assisting clients in employee relations matters including; disciplinary, grievances & trade union negotiations
  • Developing contracts of employment in line with best practice and statutory requirements
  • Engaging in key strategic internal projects to further grow the brand, reputation and product offering of the company to clients
  • Actively engaging in personal and company development
  • Engaging and contributing to the company team values

The Person

The HR Consultant must have:

  • A third level degree qualification, preferably post graduate in HRM / CIPD desirable
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in either HR / training or consultancy; in an organisation or part of a consultancy
  • The ability to demonstrate knowledge of best practice in HR and training and development
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and be a good team player
  • Strong self managing and project managing skills with excellent follow through
